Drabble KEVIN FAGAN became the youngest syndicated cartoonist when he signed a syndicate contract at age 21. Drabble was launched in 1979, and every day for the past 26 years, Fagan has created a new cartoon. That’s almost 10,000 strips! During that time, Drabble has grown into a comic strip with universal appeal and a very loyal following. The Drabble characters have found permanent places in the hearts of millions of readers.

“When I first started out, I was worried that I’d run out of ideas,” admits Fagan. “Now I realize that’s impossible. The more experiences one has in life, the more material to draw from. When Drabble started, I was Norman: insecure, awkward, and always embarrassing myself. Now I find I identify more with Ralph! He’s also insecure, awkward, and always embarrassing himself, but he just doesn’t care so much anymore.”

To date, there have been eight Drabble books published. Drabble greeting cards have been published by Recycled Paper Greetings and earned an nomination from the National Cartoonists Society for best greeting cards. Fagan and his family reside in southern California.
